Good luck on the PSAT tomorrow if you’re taking it!

Just a few reminders and tips:

Bring a calculator- graphing calculators are allowed- for the math part ii
If you’re using regular pencils and not mechanical, use sharpened pencils for writing in the book, and dull pencils on the bubble sheet. This will save time because the tip of a dull pencil is larger and u won’t worry about breaking it.
Wear layers. You don’t know what the temperature of the room you’re in will be, and you’ll be there for a while. I always wear a tank top/t-shirt under a zip up hoodie.
According to information from my school, the psat does NOT count for college admissions (aka colleges don’t give a crap if u get a 900 or 1400). However this doesn’t mean u should just bomb the test. The psat qualifies you for the National Merit Scholarship, so if u do well enough u may get some money!
One bad nights sleep the night before may make u a little tired, but a little bit of reading in the morning is enough to warm up your brain and get ready to test.
There’s no need to stress. This is just another test. You’ve taken lots of tests before. What’s one more? This isn’t as important as it seems. You’ll be fine.
Most importantly, look forward to all the memes that come out right after the test. If you ever get too bored to concentrate, try and guess which parts of the test will become memes. If you can laugh at the work you’re doing it will seem more interesting.
